General Gymnastics Pathway Level 1
The Fundamental Program teaches children new to gymnastics the basics. Concentrating on developing strength, coordination, balance, agility and mobility the Fundamentals program provides excellent body management & awareness for children to progress within gymnastics AND provides a great platform to ensure success in many other sports. The team at Twister Gymnastics Academy firmly believes that ALL children should have access to the Fundamentals program. Through developing their physical literacy every gymnast will access the
PASSPORT to a HEALTHY LIFE.

Twisters Gymnastics Academy Awards Scheme
Children have the opportunity to progress on a variety of apparatus including; bars, beams, trampette, vault, floor & tumble.
Each apparatus offers certificates and medals from Levels 6 A, B and C through to Levels 5 A, B and C. Each level contains a variety of skills which need to be mastered in order to be successfully completed, receive a Certificate and medal and progress to the next level.
Development Pathway Level 2
The DEVELOPMENT pathway is by 'INVITATION or TRIAL' only.
Gymnasts will be invited who demonstrate the physical attributes, desire and commitment to be involved in a competitive program. Teamgym is a hugely popular, relatively new discipline in gymnastics which is becoming a Worldwide phenomenon. The European Championships takes place every two years and includes over twenty countries competing at World class level.
Teamgym is exciting, dynamic, explosive and intense for gymnasts and spectators alike. Incredible skills including multiple twisting, multiple rotating somersaults performed reaching in excess of six metres in the air by men's, women's and mixed gender teams of between six to twelve gymnasts to high energy music. You can't be amazed by the insane talent of these teams of gymnasts who tumble, vault, trampette and perform on the floor together. And Twister Gymnastics Academy is bringing Teamgym to the UAE! Children have the opportunity to progress through all Teamgym apparatus; trampette, vault, floor, tumble & body preparation. Each apparatus offers certificates and medals from Level 6 A, B and C through to level 5 A, B and C. Each level contains a variety of skills which need to be mastered in order to be successfully completed, receive a Certificate and medal and progress to the next level.
Performance Pathway Level 3
The PERFORMANCE pathway is by 'INVITATION or TRIAL' only.
Gymnasts will be invited to join the girls, boys and mixed teams who demonstrate the physical attributes, desire and commitment to be involved in an International competitive program. These gymnasts might have progressed through the Twister Gymnastics Academy pathways or be existing artistic gymnasts transferring from external clubs. Teams will be expected to train up to fourteen hours per week, 42 weeks of the year in line with international competitions and training camps as communicated by the Head Coach. International training camps in Europe will take place at least twice per year. Master European high-performance coaches will be invited to deliver training workshops as part of our Performance Teamgym program. Twisters Gymnastics Academy teams should expect to compete in GB National events by 2026.

Twisters PERFORMANCE Teamgym Awards scheme
Gymnasts will progress through Levels 4 - 1 on all Teamgym apparatus;
trampette, vault, floor, tumble & body preparation.
The skills at each level are carefully selected to ensure gymnasts are able to build a solid spatial awareness which is vital for the continual development of difficulty. Skills are learned in line with the European Gymnastics code for Teamgym. Each level needs to be mastered in order to be successfully completed and receive a Certificate and medal.
